If you have never owned an Apple PC, you do not know what you are
missing. On the other hand, if you regularly use Macintosh PCs, you
understand that when you have a Mac, you can never go back. An Apple
Macintosh - if it is a MacBook, a Mac Pro, or an iMac - takes private
computing to a totally new level. I purchased my first iMac in 1998,
have upgraded twice, and am still happy as a self-evident clam. Here,
then are 5 reasons to like the Apple Macintosh. One. Cool magnificence.
If there's one thing Steve Roles knows how to do, it's conceptualizing
electronics that are ultra-cool yet wonderfully chic. Why have a
unwieldy giant box desktop PC when you may have everything you want in
a chic iMac? Behind that clear, bright 16:10 aspect proportion monitor
is the complete PC, including a DVD drive and a 64-bit Intel Core two
Couple processor. There's even a webcam built into the iMac so you can
video discuss or video meeting whenever the caprice strikes. Two.
Intuitive functionality. Though Windows copied the friendly desktop
interface from Apple Macintosh, they have not been able to get it
right. Finding a way through the Mac's interface is actually intuitive,
engaging, and just downright fun. With a mobile computing product like
the MacBook, you can take full computing functionality wherever you go.
And, wherever you will go, you will always be connected, since the
MacBook instantly discovers nearby wireless networks and gives you
almost instant online access. Three. Digital living. Macintosh PCs are
built to embrace the digital lifestyle. MacBooks and iMacs come with
iLife, an excellent array of applications that permit you effortlessly
share photograph albums, record podcasts and songs, and even create and
edit pictures. You can even publish your creations on the Internet with
a single click. How cool is that? Four.
Bug-free. If you have been
wrestling with Vista the past few months ( or any other Windows
operating system, for that matter ), you do not know the meaning of
liberty. Macintosh computers' operating systems are bug-free, and as
for upgrades, you're able to select when to get software update
notifications, and always have the choice of updating now or in the
future. Mac simply isn't intrusive ; you're able to control technology,
rather than having technology control you. Five. Workhorse. Macintosh
PCs are far more than a method to frolic in your free time. They are
also workhorses.
For years, graphic artists and publishers
have just about exclusively used Macs for work. With the Mac Pro, you
can get Adobe Creative Suite three, a collection of tools particularly
designed for creative executives.
If you are a net designer, a
graphic artist, an art director, or a video pro, Adobe Creative Suite
three will make your work simpler, better, and more fun.
There
are people who say that Macintosh computers are limited in that a lot
of the available software is only compatible with Computers . My
experience is that my Mac can do anything a Computer can do - and do it
better. Apart from those diehards who insist that they will not live
without Windows, the subsequent version of Mac OSX, Leopard, will
permit you to install Windows XP on the Mac.
At the moment,
you can run Windows in emulation mode...although for the life of me, I
do not understand why you would desire to!
